Music
When I was five years old I pestered my parents for piano lessons.
They said to themselves (but not to me) that if I did not practise then they would get rid of the piano.
Quite contrary to expectations, I practised much more than was expected.
I learned the piano and the violin and the organ – and took up singing.
Eventually I conducted choirs, and joined a male voice quartet – The Acorn Singers – which was huge fun.
I have also written some music – there are some descriptions and samples here,
with printed publication in the book musidkk which is available here
and some arrangements in the book musidkk2 which is available here
